World class waters, perfect for all levels. You can learn to sail, race or just cruise.

Falmouth boasts the third largest natural anchorage in the world, where you can see a working port and enjoy the spectacle of tall ships and a large leisure fleet. Just 4 or 5 minutes walk from Port Pendennis Marina, Custom House Quay and the world famous Maritime Museum.

Mermaid Lodge is the ideal base for sailing in Falmouth Bay and beyond. The safe, sheltered waters of the Carrick Roads and Falmouth Bay abound with all types of watercraft, watched over by the Maritime Rescue Co-ordination centre at Pendennis point. This is one of the busiest Coastguard stations in the world. You can explore the Helford river, the Fal and Percuil rivers and experience the tranquil beauty of a myriad hidden creeks and inlets.

Ken and Sally also enjoy cruising and exploring the local rivers and coves.
